About Dylan Bengis
Dylan Bengis is a sports enthusiast and natural-born leader based in Dallas, Texas. He is a results-oriented person with creative insights alongside a variety of other skills. Dylan has a passion for entrepreneurship and is sure to forge a creative path through the entrepreneurial world, given time.
At the moment, Dylan Bengis is working on his business major. He’s attending the Sam W. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. He will graduate in the Spring of 2023 with a B.S. in Business. An active person, Dylan is involved in several extracurricular activities. He’s a Kappa Sigma International Fraternity member and part of the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL). For the latter, Dylan serves as an executive board member. This has given him the opportunity to work with fifteen-plus charities, developing his leadership and organization skills in the process.
Even with his education providing a full plate, Dylan Bengis has found time for internships. He’s currently a Land Development Intern for Rausch Coleman Homes. Rausch Coleman Homes is recognized as one of the top builders in the United States, so Dylan’s experience here will prove informative. Part of Dylan’s responsibilities included working with local governments to obtain necessary permits, shadowing Project Managers, evaluating land plots, auditing invoices, and visiting job sites. One of the more exciting facets of Dylan’s internship is the ability to assist the company associates with purchasing, developing, and selling plots of land.
Dylan Bengis has only been with Rausch Coleman Homes for a short time, but he has already learned much from the company. These lessons have helped to inform some of his own opinions and passions. For example, Dylan’s views on trends in the commercial development industry have blossomed during his time there. He loves that there is a gradual return in community-centered areas. In particular, Dylan cherishes the sites that focus on walkability. In other words, Dylan has become fascinated with the projects that encourage and improve pedestrian travel, exploration, and safety. Providing people with the ability to walk within their own cities is vital, and Dylan is grateful that developers have once again realized this fact. One of the best parts about current trends is the shift towards more creative thinking – this enables innovative solutions and designs. Dylan cannot wait to see where these trends lead over the next few years.
Like many young professionals, Dylan Bengis has worked hard on his skillset. He is exceptionally skilled with computers and their software, such as M.S. Office Suite, Dealpath, and IHMS. Thanks to his internship, Dylan has had plenty of opportunities to learn about land development software and tools. Dylan’s strong work ethic has helped him learn new skills everywhere he goes.
When Dylan Bengis isn’t busy with school, extracurricular activities, or his internship, he enjoys spending time playing and following sports. His favorite sport would be golf, though he does enjoy staying updated on current sporting events.
